| Date for Ireland's largest environment conference announced |

'Environment Ireland' is Ireland’s largest conference on environmental policy and management and is attended each year by over 300 delegates representing all the major sectors with an interest in Ireland’s environment, including a significant number from Britain and further afield. The main theme of 2010's conference is Towards a green economy: Prioritising the environment in difficult economic times. The two-day conference, which also features a lively exhibition area, will be addressed by over 40 expert speakers, both local and international, on issues including sustainable development; climate change; biodiversity; waste management; water resources and environmental policy. It will be held on 3 July at Croke Park, Dublin. Further details can be obtained from the Environmental Protection Agency. |
